When photographer Harry Cooke‘s technical skill meets Schön! magazine’s brilliant creative direction, the result is this wonderful ‘Clow(n)s’ editorial series.

Loved by some, loathed by many, clowns have been reinterpreted and presented in various directions throughout the history of pop culture. In this editorial series, Schön! magazine took an unexpected turn, and invited us to see clowns and their endearing sadness through the lens of fashion and glamour. To capture this interpretation, the photographer Harry Cooke applied his technical skill by mixing the bright pops of colors with soft lighting–composing the images with dreamlike quality and a touch of tender nostalgia. We hope you adore these photos as much as we do!

Harry Cooke is a 23 year old photographer based in the South West of England.
