As Chiara Bonetti reflects on her photo series, “Falling into Place”, she thinks of it as a poetical whole, constructed much like a puzzle. Throughout the pictures, the artist mixes urban landscapes and parts of the human body to present unconventional beauty.

Chiara Bonetti is very keen on trusting her instincts and strives to learn more and interact with others. The camera allows her to open doors that otherwise would remain closed, and embark on a constant exchange of knowledge with the world. This approach drives her to capture any circumstances, no matter where she is.

Chiara’s photo series, “Falling into Place” reflects her eager aspirations as it represents a mix of trips, commissions, and even improvised photo ops with her friends. The main aim of the series is to capture unconventional beauty found in any daily situation.

This project deals with space, the human body, and the relationship between these two notions.

If an image remains fixed, combining it with another allows the development of a movement, like a short film.

When glancing at the photos incorporated in “Falling into Place” it is clear to see that the female body is evolving and thus evoking sensuality and sensitivity. The femininity photographed enhances the landscapes and the objects surrounding it — which in turn creates a unique rhythm.

Chiara Bonetti is a photographer based in Berlin, — however, since 2015 she has been splitting her work between Italy and Germany. Having studied Communication Design at IUV in San Marino, Chiara enjoys capturing unconventional beauty, forgotten details, female bodies, and casual, un-staged daily encounters.
