“The One That Got Away” is a series by Joel Rodríguez that contrasts different worlds and ideals.
Born in Venezuela, Joel Rodríguez felt connected to photography from a very young age. Inspired by art, lighting, and colours, after graduating university he decided to pursue his dreams and become a professional photographer.
Joel was one of the winners of the Cherrydeck Creators Award and “The One That Got Away” is a series of his authorship depicting the contrast between two ideas. Through the images, the photographer aims to showcase two worlds that can’t coexist.
