Finding candidates for a job you have in mind isn’t necessarily hard. But finding a qualified talent that fits both the brand style, campaign timing, location requirements, and allocated budget can be excruciating.

When the British brand JIMBAG looked to reach out to different markets and show their global relevance in cities like Tokyo and Milan, getting the right message across was of major importance. With a moderate budget, JIMBAG wanted to convey their products versatility and fashionability, while placing them in a setting where people in those areas could relate with.

Through a partnership with Cherrydeck, the brand found a way to easily send their products to Milan and Tokyo-based photographers, who then managed all the campaign details — from finding a model, to choosing the locations, to post-production.

Today, we talk with Anthony Bingham, founder and director of JIMBAG, about his collaboration and experience with Cherrydeck.

Back in the summer of 2019, JIMBAG was looking forward to expanding the brand to the Japanese market. Having the distribution channel setup, they were missing the fashion campaign that would support the launch.

With a moderate amount of resources allocated to the marketing efforts, the brand wanted to find someone who could not only understand its vision and style, but also who owned the necessary resources to conduct a shooting autonomously in Tokyo. To make it happen, Anthony got in touch with Cherrydeck.

Cherrydeck connects brands with professional creatives

According to Bingham, Cherrydeck’s fast delivery was what made the campaign a possibility and what stood out for him the most:

We knew what we wanted from the script. Cherrydeck found the right photographer and model for it, all in a short duration of time. At the end, the result was simply fantastic.

After the success with the first campaign, a collaboration in Milan followed. For Anthony, one of the main advantages of Cherrydeck’s approach is not only that it is easy and uncomplicated for the brand’s side, but also cost effective — especially when it comes to finalising the last details and managing tasks in far away locations.

Most of the hard-work is done by Cherrydeck so it makes things a lot simpler and easier for me as a business owner.

With many plans underway, each time we need a shoot (big or small) and in any country we go to, I will continue to work with Cherrydeck to find the right contacts and enhance our business.

Anthony Bingham had a long history of fitness and sport, having been a professional Rugby player himself. His experience encouraged him to found JIMBAG and fill the gap in the market with stylish bags that have the right mix of everyday fashion and fitness.
