This year’s Pride events are cancelled, but that hasn’t kept brands from showing their support to the LGBTQ+ community. #PROUDINMYCALVINS was Calvin Klein’s way of celebrating this special month, gathering powerful personalities such as Pabllo Vittar and Jari Jones.

If this year’s Pride looks a little different than the last, that shouldn’t keep you from celebrating as usual — or more. Once again, Calvin Klein didn’t stay behind and #PROUDINMYCALVINS was the brand’s initiative to showcase “self-expression and the full spectrum of LGBTQ+ identities.”

For the campaign, the photographer Ryan McGinley shot nine different models, actors, artists and activists from the LGBTQ+ community. Among them was the actor from The Politician and 13 Reasons Why Tommy Dorfman, the artist-activist Chella Man, the photographer MaryV, the singer and drag queen Pabllo Vittar, the actor and model Jari Jones (on the cover), Mina Gerges, Gia Woods, Reece King, and Ama Elsesser.

The result was a series of intimate stills and a very emotional video where people were invited to believe in themselves, to be proud of who they are, and to write their own story. Here, the main message was: “it’s ok to be exactly who you are.”

Alongside the campaign, Calvin Klein also released a Pride collection, where all the funds will support the charity OutRight Action International in their mission for LGBTQ+ equality and the launch of their COVID-19 LGBTQ+ Global Emergency Fund.

If you would also like to celebrate Pride and show your support, here are some Cherrydeck members doing great work around the LGBTQ+ community:
